    WOD: “Flight Simulator” Rx = 40(1) + 5

    Did this along with the drop-ins. Tougher than i thought… stuck on 25s and 30s for a while. Something to work on. 🙂

      Yeah….Pukie was coming for me too. If that run hadn’t been the end of the WOD, I’m sure he would have caught me. LOL

    1. I didn’t do the prescribed WOD, I was in early so I just picked something I wanted to work on… The gang did a mash of constantly varied exercises.

      Got through 10 of the 21 Ring Dips at 30 mins…and was happy to leave it at that.

      Worst party I’ve ever been to…

    Brutal workout — I was very glad to hear that the run was the end of the WOD as I rounded the corner for the gym. Great work everyone, nice to see a big crew…SURPRISE 🙂

    NOOO, why did I miss that party…darm work…As soon as I get freed from work I am attempting this for sure! Is this a 30 minute party or we just do it until it is done?

      THAT WAS BRUTAL… Now I know why I don’t like to go to parties… Closest I ever got to puking!!!

      Used 65# for weights. But had many hiccups since I was at my work gym:
      1) had to do the pull ups on smith machine which meant no kipping so all 53 pull ups were strict … 🙁
      2) no 10# bumper plates so I had to stack up weights to make up for the proper height of the bar cause there was no way I was using the height of small steel 10# plate to tough the ground. Waaaay to low!
      3) no ring but used the standing “dip rack” to do the dips.
      4) did the run on the treadmill at speed varying between 11.5-12 ( this is where I almost met pukie)

      That being said at 30 minutes I had 24 power snatches left. At first I told myself I’m finishing it to see how much time it would take me but as the 30 minutes got closer my only thought was FRIG THAT…

      Great workout to who ever came up with it! I’m not looking forward to doing it again but would like to see how it would go with the proper equipment.

      Kevin your a beast for having completed it and Jo you are insane for having done it today! You guys are my heros! I love crossfit Moncton!!! You made my crappy day/ week better by kicking my butt tonight! (Sorry for being long winded!)

    Each movement was revealed mere seconds before Coach said “GO”. Time was unknown for most of the movements…

    1:30 – Mountain Climbers = 48
    1:30 – Russian KBS @ 50# = 44
    2:00 – Down-ups = 39
    1:30 – Front Squats @ 35# = 30
    1:30 – Clapping Pushups = 23
    1:30 – Shoulder Press = 20
    1:30 – Lunges =58
    1:00 – Lateral Jumps = 56
    1:00 – Air Squats = 30
    800m Run = 4:02

    This was a physical AND mental challenge. Not knowing how long we were going to have to do a movement or what was coming up next made this such a head game. Super fun!

    Watched Kevin and Joanna “Party with the Girls”. I thought WE looked wrecked after “Real Life”….no words can describe what the “Girls” did to Kevin and Jo. LOL! Want to try that one some day….

    Patrick and I went to watch the workouts at the gym this morning – was a lot of fun watching the ‘surprise’ wod. Looked very fun, wished I had been doing it too. As for the ‘party with the girls’, it looked horrible and I really want to try it! Kevin & Joanna killed it!
