    20 off my PR…wasn’t able to string more than 3 together. Frustrating as usual but it’s a good checkpoint…more practice needed.

    Practiced DU’s, strung a set if 7..not a PR by far.

    WOD 101 reps
    More than last time, I switched ropes 3 times during the workout and then I found one that was just right. I was very frustrated at first, but it got better.

      It sounds a little bit like Goldilocks and the 3 bears! Been there myself including a broken rope – good job to just keep going!

    65-70-75-75 stopped at 4 sets… my right shoulder is feeling wonky lately.

    WOD: 226 res, 70 reps PR!! :D:D I was pretty happy when I realised I had 100 DU’s only 4 minutes in! I didn’t practice DU’s much since the last time we did this in august, so I’m pretty excited. I blame it all on the paleo thing I’ve been doing, maybe ya’ll should give it a try πŸ˜‰

    Cleans (3) 65-75-85-95-105 (only 1). Thanks for the tip MarieNo! It made a huge difference. I have been unable to get in the triple digits for my cleans since my return to xfit, but could do 95 lbs five times…so I knew my issue was technique and a mental block.

    No strength, hands are in rough shape. Did a few HSPU’s.

    WOD: 352. No PR. Had some massive cramping, and a couple other issues going on. But my shoulders were toast, I was way out of breath when it was over, and I got to spend my lunch hour at the gym, so I’ll call it a good day.

    4th set went so well that I rushed the final set and failed after 4 reps (the first 4 weren’t looking all the good either) So much of this is mental!!

    Pretty happy about this! πŸ™‚ Finally, after 2 and 1/2 years of Crossfit I can “enjoy” doing WOD with DUs.

    Lesson here is keep at it, guys and gals. It will click, just try and try again.

    DU’s are out for me for the time being. Long story. People run from me now when I start talking about my right heel.

    Best laugh of the night. The look on Lance’s face when he realized he was getting a drive home with two crazy people.
