Girl Power Event

The participants will be randomly placed in heats, and each heat will be doing a different Girl WOD. All proceeds are going to Crossroads for Women.

-Registration will be at 9:30.
-WOD announcement will be at 9:45.
-The heats will begin at 10.
-Estimated finishing time: 12:00

      It’s always a treat to see a Mario celebration after a major PR, and today he did not disappoint. Always nice to see that BIG smile during the WoooHooo’s. Congrats buddy.

    No PR today, but that was not my goal. Goal was to have fun and support a great cause and that we all did! I’m proud to be part of such a great community, yay CFM!

    I was With two teens today when i stopped in. im so happy i got a chance to show them what crossfit is. They both want to join, just by being around for The short moment. This could change their world.

    Lora you are one of them’s idol. As soon as we were leaving both girls were talking about all The faces and they were just so full of excitement.

    Grรฉรขt atmosphere at the gym!! Kevin I wanted to say hi and chit chat, corrina, Lora, gillyon, Heather, Heidi, Marcel, so many people I didn’t get to talk to, but hopefully we can do this again. Great idea gill, and loved the purple girls, everyone was glowing, even Jeff!!!! Hehehe.

    This was my first time doing Fran Rx. Previous time was 4:28 75# w/ med band in April. I am quite happy with this.
    Needless to say I have Fran cough now.
    Very well organized. Great job everyone.

    So excited to be in the first group to do “Lydia”!! Once I saw it on the wall I knew it had my name on it. Great killer workout which I hope to see rolled into our regular wod’s so everyone gets to feel Lydia’s bite ๐Ÿ™‚

    What an awesome event! Very impressed with how smooth it went (being on the non-organzing side of it). Gill (and Dave) did an outstanding job and we’re happy to have them as part of our community.

    No PR today. May have something to do with getting hair in my mouth on every rep of pullups.

    I got 3 rounds and 10 burpees (I’m not entirely confident it was 10 burpees, it could have been 8 – I just know I was trying really hard to get through them all before time ran out and I that I almost made it.

    Don’t remember doing this WOD before but it was my third time! Haha! Not one of my favourites, I guess. Did in March 2012 in 13:10…so 48 sec PR. I want to try it the next time with Gillyon’s fairy wings…
