Remember the QOD from Friday? What do you NOT want to see in the Games?

What ever you posted (or thought of), that’s what you need to work on right away. Don’t wait to see if it’s going to be posted on Wednesday night on the Games site. Don’t wait a few days. Work on it today! Make your weakness a strength. Tackle it head on until you love it. Embrace it.

Skill of the week? Cashout? All this week…

YOUR weakness.

I dont believe I answer the QOD, but there’s no doubt for me, Double-Unders!

Also, I’ve stared to run on my own a bit, trying to build up some cardio and be ready when the WODs with running start showing up.

Also, did anyone else notice that for the men’s weight in 12.2, the first set was half of WOD “Randy” and the second set was “Isabel” ?

    How about that?

    So Friday’s QOD was a trick ! πŸ™‚

I listed what I didn’t want to see but I forgot to mentioned what I’d love to see:
    12.3 as “Plank 10 minutes” .

We’ve been tested on flexibility and strength, how ’bout the art-of-doing-nothing. (You know like burpees are the art-of-just-laying-down-and-getting-up…)

Hardly wait unitl Wed to find out.

I am sooooooo proud of you for doing this today! I know you weren’t feeling well, and set yourself a goal of “1”….but after you had 2 in at 75#, I knew you were going to knock this one out of the park! Well done my friend πŸ™‚

  4. Retried 12.2

    Did 68 today… a 2 rep less than Thursday.

This was just another reminder to myself about how nutrition plays such a strong part in our lives. I struggled more today and my cardio wasn’t there either… why? Well, I had wine and junk yesterday. Boohoo for me.

  5. Attempted to do 12.2 again. Felt weak and stopped after two failed attempts at 135#. Looking forward to getting back into routine at the gym. Great turnout today! Thanks for your help Jo!

  6. Redo of 12.2

Score: 43 (12 more than Wednesday night)

Very pleased with this πŸ™‚ They were not the prettiest of lifts, and I was crazy intimidated to try again because wednesday night was so tough for me.

    Thanks for cheering everyone.

Congrats Johnny. excellent improvement over last time. just ike hockey, it does not matter how pretty the goal was, as long as the red light comes on it still counts. great pr..

    WOD 12.2

    Score: 31

Well SO happy that I got one rep in at 75#, I didn’t think I could do it. PR of 10#..I’ve only ever done one rep at 65# and it was pretty ugly. Thanks for the cheers it really helps!

Went in for the OPEN GYM today totally on the fence about doing 12.2 again….(crazy, I know). Feeling very sore and tired and opted to work on some double unders and muscle up progressions instead.

Muscle up progressions are coming along slowly. Still using the purple band.

Double under PR of 80! Stoked. Previously at 39 πŸ™‚

Very inspiring to watch those who were tackling 12.2 today. Great work everyone!
