    This was my first WOD ever without using a band on my pull ups. First 4 rounds were respectable, but couldn’t get my chin over the bar on round 5, but I’ll take it! Fun WOD.

    Pretty tired after this one! Mainly my stomach was sore from the situps… I have a nice bruise on my stomach from the row and pulling the bar to my belly hahah! I looked in the mirror and was like “what the hell is that??”

    My numbers I chose for myself were bang on except maybe the squats.. I think I coulda got 17. man nice WOD.

    Thanks to Coach Kevin for calling out my “no reps”. I lost a few reps from the total but the ones I counted were better for it.

  19. I got home a little later than usual and wasn’t able to participate in a class today. Rather than sit home and do nothing I went for a run outside for the first time in about 7 weeks and all I can say is holy crap what a difference. I ran a much faster pace without even trying. The hills simply did not seem to exist, in fact, I seemed to pick up speed whenever I was on one. I love that this sport allows me the muscle strength and conditioning to jump outside and do something completely different and not even notice it.

    Tonight’s activity, MOB – WU x 1

    5.3K run outside door to door 30minutes and change, I didn’t have a stop watch.

    I also learned another valuable lesson tonight. Do not try and show off your impressive kipping pull up skills to your daughter using a P90X door jam pull up bar. Otherwise you will be laying on your back staring up at the crushed drywall while your daughter shakes her head in shame. lol
