That would have been a great video if she had simply gotten back up to Finnish the race, but to actually win it!!! Phenomenal!!!

    11.5: 6 rounds + 8 T2B

Wow that was 10 times harder than it looked. 11.5 beat me to my knees and kept me there the full 20 minutes. The cleans were manageable, the T2B were ok with the kip but the wall balls beat me like a sack of doorknobs. Just glad it’s all over.

Thanks for judging for me today Jeff, very fair as always.

    WOD 11.5
    5 Power cleans #145
    10 Toes to bar
    15 Wallball #20

    5 Rounds 4 Power Clean

Very satisfied with my result! Made it through the 20 min.
Cleans where actually very good! I knew the T2B where going to be easy, strict and unbroken but the wall balls drained me fast.

Great job to all who made it through another tough WOD

Thanks to Joanna and all the Judges for their great job.

    Time to rest!

Another tough WOD. The 100# cleans were brutal. Thanks to Gabrielle for judging, as well as coaching me through this WOD. The cheers from the crowd were really helpful, as I struggled through the cleans.

Great job to all participants & Happy Easter everyone!

  5. Sonia

    WOD 11.5

    5 powercleans 145#
    10 T2B
    15 wallballs 20#

    Result: 4 rds 5 cleans 8 T2B

Goal was 4 rounds and so I am happy with my result – again for me high rep Power cleans at this weight are tough but with cheers and tips I got enough up! I hate u powercleans (for today only)!! Thanks Jeff for the video post yesterday as it really helped my T2B which I could notΒ do very well just yesterday at open session. Thanks for being a great Judge and motivator Sonia (awesome to have u there and nice to see Andrew today!). Great to see the nice sized crowd out again! Cheering is the ultimate help eh?!!! I want to do this WOD again in exactly 6 months – who’s in?

Also took a bunch of pics today! I’ll try to post them on my Facebook and maybe also an online album for all to see! Happy Easter!Β Everyone did awesome today!!!!

Anyone interested in an Easter morning run tomorrow? Say 6km at a slow walk-&-talk pace? Thinking 9am. Let me know.Β

    7 Rounds + 2 Cleans

Really happy with that! My strategy was to get one round every 2.5 minutes for a total of 8 rounds. The strategy almost worked and in the early rounds I had some long rests. I didn’t burn out too early and it helped me get a decent score. 8 rounds was a bit of stretch for me though as breathing through the movements was tough. Wall balls are not my favourite thing so I’m happy and glad it’s over. Thanks Sonia you are a great judge, coach and motivator! πŸ™‚

Thanks so much to Advanced Health & Physiotherapy and Active Therapy Clinic! The snacks and treats were very much appreciated! πŸ˜€

Great job everyone! Another well well run Saturday Games day with a large supportive cheering section. … Just one week left!

  9. Gabrielle

    Wow games Saturdays are fun!

    10 T2B
    15 wallballs 20#

    Result: 5 rds + 1 clean = success.

Much like John, the cleans were my enemy at that weight, all in all very happy with the results.

  11. Joanna

11.5 – I got to do the workout this morning before the drop-in

    6 rounds + 4 T2B
I was thinking 6 rounds so I’m happy with that πŸ™‚

Great job by everyone today! The clean gods were with you today Jane lol Thanks for the snacks Sonia and John! Looking forward to the last week.

  12. Kevin

    10 rounds + 1 clean

I quite enjoyed this workout. Each movement was equally taxing, but none were crazy. Hardest part was the time spent going to the next movement. Very happy my hands stayed intact.

Thanks judges! Thanks spectators! Thanks Advanced Health and Active Therapy for the yummies! Thanks to everyone who helped clean up after the event!

And don’t forget to keep voting over the weekend. This is our time to pull ahead in the standings.

  14. Gillyon

Jane, you were AWESOME today. It was so exciting watching you get that first clean…and 14 after that. πŸ™‚

Sorry for being a sad sack today. I really wanted to do this, but am glad that I listened to my body. I have given that same advice to others before and was glad that I finally followed it (I just needed some convincing…thanks girls!)

Sonia you made that WOD seem so easy. Great work!

  15. Marc H.

Amazing atmosphere again. Super proud of all the athletes with their amazing scores. Judging all of you is a pleasure. These games got us even closer as a community. We fight through these WOD’s together. One more week of competition and then it’s in the past. 2012 games is gonna be the BOMB!!!!!
