    First time doing chest to bar pullups in a WOD. The first 2 rounds were great, but the last two rounds…I failed A LOT…like 15 times. YUCK!

    I enjoyed this work-out for sure. I was hesitant to use 110 lbs, but after the 1st round, I felt like I could have gone a little heavier. Next time! Thanks a lot Joanna for encouraging me to use 110lbs.

    Very impressive work this morning Ed! Kudos to you Gillyon for your perseverance with the chest to bar pull ups. Chin up Kevin; you will knock the pants off this work-out next time around.

    I have to admit that I was scared before this workout, but it went better than I thought… just goes to show that you do have to get out of your confort zone to see exactly how far you can go!

    Chest to bar was slow…I couldnt get the momentum.
    Failed a lot of cleans!! But… TGIF!!!

    5km group run downtown Montreal at 6:30 this morning. Not sure my time but I didn’t need to stop running today! Really happy with that considering I had 5 hours sleep and a lot of “fun” the night before. That’s three 5km runs this week! My fight is delayed… hope to see you tomorrow. 🙂

    Rings rows as opposed to chest to bar were most definitely the saving grace for me on this WO. Front squats were heavy as hell, but the bloody double unders are always an exhausting challenge for me. All said…a really good WO.

    Had to compensate for my mending wrist by balancing the bar on my shoulders and breast bone to do the squats.

    The new bar position was challenging for the squats, but all in all I just didn’t have it today. Felt weak and outta practice. Too much vacation this summer I guess. Great job Lisa!
