You may (or may not) have noticed a new addition to the gym. It’s “The Stick”, a toothbrush for muscles.
What does it do? It’s basically a self-massage that delivers myofascial release and trigger point therapy. It will compress and stretch the muscle to improve blood flow and accelerate recovery. It will help prevent muscle injuries and improve your flexibility. And if you let me use it on you, you might even wince.
To use it, just grab the handles and rub back and forth over the area you want massaged. It’s great for getting at hamstrings and calves, where the foam roller is not adequate.
