    For those of you on the move and still want to Zone, there’s a food dehydrator on sale at Canadian Tire tomorrow for $35. That’s a huge deal!

    You can make and package your own beef jerky and dried fruits!

  3. This hasn’t been a big PR month for me except small ones like Push Jerks(125 or 135) and Dead Lifts(205) I think. I’m still working up to my first Muscle Up. The ring dips in my warm up seem to help a lot so far.

    I got my first pull up after only one month of CrossFit.
    Now just a couple of weeks later I did unassisted pullups for the entire warmup.

    I really thought my first pull-up would only happen after a few months.

    This is from a guy that hasn’t entered a gym in 13 years!
    I’m following the Zone, feeling better about myself and loving CrossFit! 🙂

    I’ll chime in here too. My workout PR would be my sub-4 Fran. Never thought I get that. My strength PR would be my overhead squat at 180#.

    I did a RING DIP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was a slow one but it was legit! 🙂

    After this accomplishment, the rest of my workout suffered.

    WOD: AMRAP in 20 minutes of
    250m Row
    21 SDHP (55lbs)
    15 pullups
    Rounds: 4 + 6 pullups.

    All that pulling SUCKED.

      I guess that picture worked! Everyone was keeping the bar against their legs tonight!

      Everyone should invest in some deadlifting (soccer) socks! Helps keep the skin on your legs.

    I did this nasty little wod tonight after everyone left. I did the rowing instead of running (much worse!)

    4 rounds + row + 7 SDHP

    Oh, and another PR for me (kinda) was Tuesday. The number of visitors to the site reached 890! That’s a new daily record! Keep telling your friends!

    It was harder than I expect!!
