It’s official

I’m taking a year off teaching. This is a large, and scary step, but I have a lot of great people supporting me. I’m hoping this will allow me to put more time and energy into the gym, making it a better place to come and train.

With that being said, Crossfit Moncton Prices will be going up on September 1st, 2009. If you’re a current member by the End of August, your membership price will stay the same for the rest of your time here at CrossFit Moncton, as long as you stay an active member. This is our way of saying thank you.

If you or someone you know is thinking about joining Crossfit Moncton, then get into Crossfit Moncton and lock in your price NOW!!!

    PR by almost 2 rounds since June 20th (12 rounds). YAY!!

      Ah… can’t take credit for penning that one; seems all the good credos have already been penned by pro-wrestlers and this author by the name of “unknown”. I think I’d like to meet this “unknown” person… God knows meeting Jake the Snake Roberts and Hacksaw Jim Duggan fell way short of my childhood expectations.

      Anyhow, it applies to this situation and had an impact on my decision to change careers… gee just think, if I hadn’t read that quote a year ago, I probably wouldn’t know what a burrpee is today? What a gift πŸ™‚ Ha!

  12. Congrats Kevin! Not only are you pursuing you dream, but you’re also an inspiration for your club members. CrossFit is not just about physical strength but also about reaching your goals. You’re the living example of that and that adds fuel to your club members.

    I have no doubt you’ll be successful (I think you already are). Seeing what you did on a part time basis, I can’t wait to see what you’ll bring to this club once you do it full time.

    You could all become employees of Hallmark. Thank you very much for your kind words and overwhelming support. It really helps to have members like you so that it doesn’t feel like a job. I see it as hanging out with friends every day (some of which swear at me, but I’m cool with that).

    It’s all of you that inspire me to be the best coach I can be. For example, seeing the fairly new members crush their old scores on the Intro Workout was AMAZING! I love seeing it, every time one of you reaches a goal or sets a personal record. They are small steps to your final goal, and you have been my steps to reach mine.

    Hey Wood Congrats on the big move! *insert what everyone else has said here* now that your doing it full time you’ll have to get a bigger place so you can have a room big enough to fit the white board for all the new people that are going to start showing up. I know I’m not the only one alone saying this but when I first heard of crossfit I thought “yeah it could be interesting I guess.” but boy am I glad that I stuck around and kept doing it cause it’s had a hige impact on my life. Now I just need to see what Crossfit Moncton will look like when I get back from my second year of University haha.

    P.S. Now that you old crossfit gym owners are “retired”, shouldn’t you have cute nurses and prune juice?

    The pension will always be there if you should ever go back to teaching part time or something to keep those kids into it! We need people like you in PE but if you can find a way to hook them into Crossfit this way then go for it!!!
