The workout is the Physical Abilities Requirement Evaluation (PARE). This is a test used to assess an RCMP recruits level of fitness. Rob is getting tested on Thursday, so let’s give him a pre-test.

There may be a special “treat” at the end…

Pierre – “No cookies for you! Come back one year!” Sounds like the “treat” might be a generous portion of Tire flips, or another equally sour treat… 8)

  2. Hold on… Heather has a recipe for the best chocolate chip cookies and she hasn’t shared them with us yet???
    What’s up with that???

Pierre – Sobeys’ bakery has the best chocolate chip cookies. I’m talking about the big ones that you buy individually for 68cents. DELICIOUS!

Did the RCMP P.A.R.E. test tonight. Finished it in 2:27 (I can make it in SWAT!). Also did an 800m run with a 14# med ball in 3:52 (over a minute longer than my PR)

Awesome work on the PARE everyone! Everyone got below the 4:45 limit!

    Power cleans (7×1)

    195 (fail)
    195 (PR!)

I just had to get angry to make that last lift.

Great article. I also believe. Pierre, Sobey’s can’t compare to homemade. Ask Kevin. He used to eat my cookies. Sometimes he still does.
