February 24 workout

Some people seem to be taking a very long time to complete the warm-up, therefore, we’ll be doing a very special warm-up each night for the rest of the week 🙂

Night 1 – 100 burpees

Five rounds for time of:
135 pound Deadlift, 15 reps
135 pound Hang power clean, 12 reps
135 pound Front Squat, 9 reps
135 pound Push Jerk, 6 reps

    great picture – i look like i have a muppet face! and i never knew julie was THAT much taller than me!

    i hope i didn’t make us all do burpees tonight – the kips take me a bit more time for the warm up – and i’ve been trying not to talk so much, i’ll make sure to zip it tonight 🙂

    It’s not your fault Krista. I think everyone was a little bit slower than usual lately (including me). I guess a change will be good…even if it’s burpees. :p

    WOD: 5 rounds of (using 65#)
    15 deadlifts
    12 hang power cleans (really need to work on these)
    9 front squat
    6 push jerk

    time 19:57
    rounds were are follows 3:20, 4:07, 4:28, 4:03, 3:57

    Thanks MC for helping me keep pace, i’d see you pull ahead and i’d work harder to stay up to you.

    and congrats on your first 3 kipping pull ups! YAY!

    15 deadlifts
    12 hang power cleans (this is a goat)
    9 front squats
    6 push jerks

    Time: 22:43

    oh ya, plus 10 burpees for saying the “c” word.
    I like the change in the warm-up

    Max Pull-Ups: 20

    Can’t = 10 Burpees

    Five rounds for time of:
    95 pound Deadlift, 15 reps
    95 pound Hang power clean, 12 reps
    95 pound Front Squat, 9 reps
    95 pound Push Jerk, 6 reps

    24:29 – compare to Oct 7th w/ 65#, 13:41… Weird same time as the burpess tonight.

    Great work tonight everyone! Way to rock the pull-ups MC.

    Warm up : group 100 Burpees (beurk!)

    Max Pull Up: 1 YAAAAAYYYY!!!! I could do pull up (as prescribe) now!!! My goal was 1 pull up before the end of the week!! I did it!

    WOD : 5 rounds of:

    – 15 Deadlift #55 (I did 18 the first round because I though it’s was 21 rep)
    – 12 Hang power cleans #55
    – 9 Front squats #55
    – 6 Push Jerk #55

    Time: 18:23
