February 7 workout

“Death by Deadlifts”
Using 70% of you max deadlift, with a continuously running clock do one deadlift the first minute, two deadlifts the second minute, three deadlifts the third minute… continuing as long as you are able.

    Completely mental… I LOVE PJsmy PR for PJs is 125# but I really struggled this morning with these.

    Deadlifts on the minute, 165pounds
    9 Rounds + 8 reps

    Feeling kinda off these last few days.

    And then he changes it to 70% and decides to move my max from 95 to 115.

    WOD Running Clock deadlifts 10 rounds of 85 pounds Great workout. Does not matter that I have never felt this much pain from any workout.

    great work everyone on the DLs!

    sean and i slogged through a super fun race course today (well i thought it was fun, not sure how he feels about it). i was just getting into the groove of riding a road bike in up to 6 or so inches of powder and groomed trails by the last lap – i would have kicked some butt if the race was twice as long ๐Ÿ™‚ still, i giggled most the way around the course.

    i’m pretty sure i came in last of the girls, BUT i did stop 2 times to help people straighten out their handlebars after crashes.

    my legs were pretty darned toast to start with after all those lunges and squats yesterday but i could feel some really good power transfer into the pedals though. yay CF!
