January 20 workout

Five rounds for time of:
50 Lunges
30 Sit-ups
15 Deadlifts, 250#

Do you ever see things as you’re walking around in your daily life and have thoughts like, “I wonder if  I could do a pullup on that?” Or, “I bet I could overhead squat that thing”. Or, “Man, box jumping that would be awesome”.

    what would the womens rx’ed weight be? is women’s weight usually a standard % of the men’s rx’ed weight (on this and all WODs)

    …Like sitting at a social gathering and wondering what people would say if I just started doing pushups…because I just feel like going for it :op

    janine – i saw that happen this past weekend at my CPR course – a lady dropped and pumped out a bunch of push ups – she said she was cold and needed to get the blood moving again

    CFWU x 3 (came a bit early so i could try all sets of kipping)

    practice: handstands (even got my feet away from the wall for about 4 seconds once)

    WOD: modified Mr. Joshua
    5 rounds for time
    50 walking lunges
    30 sit ups
    15 deadlifts

    first round was with 150# (very heavy, bad form), second round was a mix of 145 and 140# i was still not keeping form, 3-5 rounds were at 135# still having trouble with rounding my back

    time – 30:05

    last i did this was with the 400m run, and 115# deadlifts at a time of 25:58

    5 Rounds

    50 Walking Lunges
    30 Sit-ups
    15 Deadlifts

    I started my deadlifts with 150# for round 1, but I didn’t have good form, and thank you Kevin for pointing that out. So I dropped my weight to 135# for rounds 2 to 5 and my form improved.
    R1- 5:53
    R2- 7:01
    R3- 5:57
    R4- 6:53
    R5- 5:49
    Time – 31.34

    Did the WOd with 225# for the deadlift.

    Time: 28:37 (I am not sure about the 37s)

    A WOd with deadlifts in it are always hard!

    Everyone kept it under 35min. Glad some of you dropped the weight too. Gotta keep tight form on these exercises!

    30 Unanchored open-leg sit-ups
    250 pound Deadlift, 15 reps

    50 Lunges
    30 sit ups (sub crunches)
    15 deadlifts (Round 1+2 – 175, Rd 3-5 – 125) – dropped the weight for better form AND so I could finish
    Time – 32:35

    Dropped weight for better form and finish as well.

    34:10 – form was not great on deadlifts:(
