    my boss told me to stay home due to cold too – but work from home rather than the office. more cozy here anyway

    but no, no sympathy for the teachers 🙂

    looking forward to tonight’s WOD – thrusters and pull ups = ouch!

    Don’t get me wrong sean, unlike kevin, I am still expected to work from home. Turns out I didn’t have the right file with me at home and I had to go to the office anyway.

    Laying on the cold cement after that w/o felt so good.
    Looking forward to tonight’s w/o and I also had to brave the cold and go to work. I’m just glad my car started and I didn’t have to walk.

    Had a GREAT couple of days in the gym.

    The other day got a new PR on my 5 k

    22.43 mins

    And today got all new prs in Crossfit total (granted, it was my first time doing the workout)

    Squat- 275 lbs – 308 lbs (PR) – 320 lbs (f) – I was very surprised I got 308 up, I think I got lucky!

    Press- 135 lbs – 145 lbs (PR) – 155 lbs (F) – Disapointed I couldnt get the 155. Next time perhaps 150.

    Deadlift- 315 lbs – 335 lbs – 345 lbs (f) – They were ugly, but I got em lol.

    Total = 335 + 308 + 145 = 788

    I think i can get a better deadlift, I need to work on my form!

    The thrusters were the worst part for me……really slowed me down.

    21:13 (over 4 minutes less than my previous time)

    That was quite the show tonight with 9 people doing thrusters at the same time!
