On Wednesday, December 10, CrossFit Moncton will be volunteering at the Moncton processing center for Operation Christmas Child. For those that would like to participate in this great event, please repond below. The hours are from 6:45-10pm. The location is conveniently located directly across from the gym.     Did anyone see the movie “Bigger Stronger Faster” ? It’s a documentary about steroids and the steroid-subculture in the US. I liked it. If anyone else saw it, I’d love to know your thoughts. Here’s a link to the trailer. I rented it from Rogers.


    Also, does anyone other than me watch the series “The Wire” ? If you haven’t seen this show, I suggest you stop what you’re doing and go rent it. I’m hooked.

    This snowy weekend was perfect dvd-watching weather 🙂

    40# dumbbell swing, 21 reps
    21 Push-ups
    45 towel pullups
    19 inch Box jump, 21 reps
    21 Good mornings
    Walking lunge, 150 ft

    Time of 31:49

    The 45 towel pullups were by far the worst.

    I just noticed in the “News” section that you put Crossfit Moncton Christmas Party!!

    Awesome…do you have something in mind for that yet?
    Would it be at the gym, restaurant, a Crossfitter’s place, ….???

    I have no Christmas party lined up yet this year….since my work party is December 6th and we will be in Boston. 😀

    21 Knees to elbows
    1 pood Kettlebell swing, 21 reps
    21 Push-ups
    45 Pull-Ups ** subbed 90 Jumping Pull-Ups in Round 3 due to skin damage **
    19 inch Box jump, 21 reps
    21 Supermans
    50 Walking lunges


    Was hoping I’d finish this in under 50mins. I knew the pull-ups would hold me up big time, and they did. Oh well.

    Yay for a Christmas Party!!! I’ll wear my fancy shoes!

    35lb DB swing
    21 push ups (all toes!!)
    45 pull ups (all with knees in red band, hands in overhand grip!!)
    19″ box jump (21 reps)
    21 supermans
    50 walking lunges


    Figured at least 45 minutes before we started. Am VERY happy to have finished that close to Jeanette (she’s so strong on the push and pull ups, i have to try to make up for it on the lower body end!! 😉 pull ups were definitely my weak point, it was the grip that i couldn’t hold. i’ve also only just made the switch from jumping reverse grip to overhand grip with bands – i can taste those ‘REAL’ pull ups coming on!

    i like parties!

    no making fun here – i can’t wait til i can do one or two kipping pullups let alone 90 before my hands let go.

    and you KILL me on pushups, but i must say i have come a LONG way from failing at 4 or 5 on my knees. max consecutive toes push ups now 24! hurray for CF!
