Yippee! The fitness gods answered my prayer. I wanted a strength day, and push-jerk is just lovely.
Okay, for the rest of the month I’m adding either a 1mile run or 2k row to my warm-up (as long as neither are part of the daily prescription).
I had to announce it so I can be held accountable.
Every day? Just want to clarify…
Every day I train, yes (4 times/week). But if, for example, Michael is the wod, then I’m not gonna do it. As long as it’s not in the wod, I’ll do it.
And I’ll alternate between running and rowing, providing the weather cooperates of course. So, Sunday I did a rowing workout… I’ll run tonight.
Any other suggestions, Kevin?
Just keep it up and try to get your times down.
Well………I ran from home to CrossFit whereas the w/o was “Push Jerk”. I thought I would get some cardio in. Did I ever get a surprise……..Men…or should I say just one Man….
Run – Home to CrossFit 3.5 km – 20:33
“Karen” – 150 Wall Balls
14# – 9:00
Run – CrossFit to Home 3.5km – 21:11
On my run home both of my calves started cramping for about the first 2 minute, then things got better. Lets just say I’m glad I’m home.

Did the bench press at school today…
Tonight, did the push jerk WOD. Warmed up with 10 presses, 10 push presses and 5 push jerks (all 45#).
Awesome WOD tonight…I enjoyed it!

95-115-120-125-135-145-155 (I didn’t had the good technique on the last rep)

Tomorrow is my rest day of Crossfit but work day on the house! 😀

then tried push jerks – not smart after helen
got up to 3×50 but then decided to try again when fresh
double under practice – got 7 or 8, but not consecutive – still a PR though 😉
JULIE – what are you doing with a 25lb swing if you’re jerking 95!! take the leap 😉
This was the first time I did the push jerk, so now I have no choice but to take that leap (and it’s in writing too). 35lbs here I am.
