Egg a day!

If you’ve been avoiding eggs because of concerns linking them to dietary cholesterol and coronary heart disease, it’s time to reconsider. The latest research shows that healthy adults can enjoy an egg every day without increasing their risk of heart disease.
According to the American Heart Association, lutein found in egg yolks also protects against the progress of early heart disease.

Eggs may be OK to have daily in respect to their cholesterol, but with eggs being one of our top 3 allergens, having them in that high of a frequency will increase your chances of becoming intolerant/allergic to them, especially when people don`t chew as well as they should….. but, hey, that’s just my 2 cents :o)

Hmmm… Thanks Rebecca. That’s interesting. They’re just such an easy source of protein: 3 for breakfast, and then depending what’s in my fridge, I’ll one for my mid-morning and afternoon snacks if I don’t have any leftover meat lying around.
So far no problems but yes, I’m guilty of not chewing as much as I should.
