CrossFit Group Classes
We offer a variety of group classes throughout the day. Our workouts are varied, functional and intense, giving you dramatic results. At CrossFit Moncton, we practice the deadlift, clean, squat, press, clean and jerk, and the snatch. We also work on pullups, dips, pushups, situps and handstands. Included in the mix is running and rowing, amongst many other exercises.
You will have a CrossFit Trainer teaching and correcting you on your form, as well as pushing you to limits you never thought possible. When you workout with a group, you will be motivated to stretch your comfort zone.
We are a registered CrossFit Kids Affiliate that runs classes for 6-13 year olds. Kids will learn a variety of physical skills, including running, jumping, throwing, gymnastics and weight lifting. Kids will develop emotionally, with a better self-image and higher confidence. Our classes consist of a group warm-up, skill work, a workout and always finishes with a game. Currently, our classes run every Sunday from 12:15pm-1:00pm.
This program is for anyone who wants to maintain or re-gain their mobility and daily function in life. Picking up grandchildren and loading groceries in your car will no longer be an issue after becoming a member at the CrossFit Moncton Masters class. Class are every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9:30am.
CrossFit Prep Course
Open to men and women of any fitness level/ability. We offer a 5 week program with scheduled classes twice per week. You will be in a small group setting with an experienced CrossFit trainer to coach you through. During the 5 weeks you will learn the foundational movements used in CrossFit, participate in weight training and be exposed to a lot of fun and challenging workouts! This is a great opportunity to be introduced to CrossFit as it is designed to progressively get you into it, starting with the basics and building with each session.
Each session is compromised of a warm-up, skill/strength work, workout of the day (WOD) and stretching.
There are 17 exercises/movements that we teach you, and we allow ample time for practice. The course lasts 3 sessions and allows us to assess your fitness level and ease you into the group workouts. Also included in the course is a session on nutrition and goal setting.
Olympic Lifting Class
Offered every Tuesday and Thursday at 7:00pm, we focus on the Clean, Jerk and Snatch (and other variations) during these classes. This class is for members only and included with their membership. It should also be the only class of the day, because working on form and technique requires a fresh, recovered body. By focussing on technique, you will become more efficient during CrossFit workouts, increasing your power output, and getting better results.
