    If not, I’m thinking I’d be better off again 1 horse-sized duck than 100 small ones. If I can only fight like 5 at a time, and there are 95 others attacking me, I’m in trouble.

    45 reps – forgot about the 1 min break at the end and my hands were quite sweaty on the 185 reps so didn’t get to 225 Although 225 is my 1 rep clean so wasn’t too keen on getting there.

    All in all fun one though.

  9. QOD: I feel like the right answer is horse-sized duck, but you could probably kick a duck-sized horse a good distance.

    WOD – 79 reps using scale option #2 @ 65/75/80/85/90/95 (Split jerk for the last four reps).

    Pretty happy with this… I based the scale off a heavier max than I’ve actually hit since I ran out of time on the last testing day and hit 110# but felt I could have hit a heavier lift.

    In the 3:15 I had to attempt 175# I power cleaned it THREE times before even attempting to put it over head. First PC I hit myself in the face when I went to rerack the bar at my shoulders πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™€οΈ
    Managed to squeeze in 3 reps after that.

    In 2016 I finished the 155# bar at 19:56, so while this may only be a 3 rep PR, that’s a big time difference!

    *for future self: you did this alone and you just finished a 24hr shift this morning and had two house fires yesterday, you can beat this score.

    Option 1 – made it to 225# and failed 2 attempts.

    75 reps which is a 3 rep PR over last time. Started 225# with 1 minute left which is certainly a time PR over last time.

    I did Rx and got 60 reps. Finished the 155# but only had 40 seconds left so I didn’t change my plates
