    “Bull”
    Two rounds for time of:
200 Double-unders 30s or so first round(sub 4min) then big set and 15s second round
50 Overhead squats (135/95#) 105# These were still so hard 10-5s-10 to finish 7-6s with longer rest to avoid cleans
    50 Pull-ups 16min first round
Run 1 mile scaled to 800 22ish first round
    44:34 was 43:57

    Thanks Matt!

  5. “Bull” – 45 min cap – option
    Two rounds for time of:
    200 singles
    35 Overhead squats (135/95#) – 20# (having a problem with my wrist/thumb)
    35 Ring rows
    Run 800m
Ran 1 mile on second round

    33:25

Next time I’ll do the option with mile runs for both rounds

  6. “Bull” scaled
    2 Rounds for Time:
    400 Single unders
    50 Overhead Squats 65#
    50 Ring rows
    800m run

    42:37

My ankle felt stiff waking up this morning, so I wrapped it…which then was forcing my ankle off the floor when doing squats, so had to take a break 20 reps into first set of OHS to pull it off…felt way better after that. Running was still super slow thanks to ankle/ball of foot injuries, but at least it was unbroken!

Last did Bull in 2014, with 200 singles, 35 reps OHS 50#, 35 reps ring rows, and 800m run in 38:51. I’m ok with less than 4 extra minutes to do an extra 230 reps and 15# more on the OHS. Definitely a PR 🙂

    Great work morning crew!

    Thanks Matt!

  8. Almost didn’t make it in, but after listening to what was going on in Fredericton today, extra motivation to show up for a Hero WOD.

    “Bull”
    Two rounds for time of:
    200 Double-unders
    50 Overhead squats (135/95#)
    50 Pull-ups
    Run 1 mile

    Option 1 was 400 Singles, 50 OHS (55#), 50 Ring Rows & 1 mile run. (completed in 13 minutes)
Option 2 was 100 Singles, 35 OHS (55#), 35 Ring Rows & 800m run (left for my run around 26 min mark)

I did Option 2 in 13 minutes; so did the second round as Option 1. That mile took me close to 13 minutes, but I got it done!
    Total time; 39:57

    Thanks Mario!

  9. QOD: my heros are my grandparents. I was born to a very young single mother (16 years) and they supported us in every way possible. They helped me become the person I am today and still jump in to help whenever I need them. Amazing people ❤️

    Bull (scale to half reps)
    2 rounds for time:
    200 single unders
    35 overhead squats (20#)
    35 Ring Rows
    800 meter run

    Time: 33:29

Skipped in sets of 20. Steady pace on the OHS and ring rows. The 800 meters were intervals of running and walking. Happy with how I scaled things.

    Thanks Mario!

  10. QOD: Me mum! She’s my best friend, idol, definition of a strong independent woman and the most loving maman and grand-maman ever! ❤️

    Bull

  11. “Bull”
    Two rounds for time of:
    400 Single-unders
    50 Overhead squats @ 35lb
    50 Ring rows
    Run 800m

    34:25

Last time I used 45lb but didn’t double the skips, finishing with 36:44. I think I’ll call this a PR 🙂

  12. Bull – Scaled

    200 singles
    50 OHS 65#
    50 Ring Rows
    800m run

    Time – 35:31

1:09 PR over last year with same rep scheme.

  13. QOD: definitely my mom. She is the most selfless person I know and goes above and beyond for everyone.

    Bull”
    Two rounds for time of:
    100 Single-unders
    35 Overhead squats 15#
    35 Ring rows
    Run 800m

    Time: 36:53

That was tough but still better then I was expecting. Also, congratulations to my love Mike for hitting his 500th class today. So proud of you. ❤️

  14. Who’s your hero?
I really have no specific hero.. I admire a lot of people for different reasons.. Mostly people that set the example and keep going when the going gets tough.. People that try and don’t make excuses, even if you fail.. that’s pretty cool in my books!

    “Bull”
    Two rounds for time of:
    200 Double-unders
    50 Overhead squats (35#)
    50 Pull-ups(ring rows)
    Run 1 mile
    43:55
Well! THAT was a hero wod! I looked through my books and it turns out this was my first time doing Bull! I was hesitant to do it because of my on again, off again calf issue, Sooo I wore my super heavy duty compression socks and I had no issue..
I kept my doubles to no more than 50 at a time. The OHS I did in sets of 10-12 so that my brain wouldn’t kick in and stall.. Thanks to Matt and Shane for reminding me to bring my feet in, (I was mad at myself not you guys).. Ring Rows on the first round were sets of 7-10 .. second round were sets of 5..
I was super frustrated with myself before the second run and I was extremely relieved when i finished under the cap!!

  15. “Bull”
    Two rounds for time of:
    200 Double-unders (400 singles)
50 Overhead squats (135/95#) started at 35#about 15 reps in things were not feeling good so I took the weight off went to 15#
    50 Pull-ups (ring rows)
    Run 1 mile

    41:53

  16. Bull (scale)
    2 rounds for time:
    200 single unders
    35 overhead squats (25#)
    35 Ring Rows
    800 meter run

    Time: 30:27

In 2014 my reps were 150 singles, 20 OHS and 20 Ring Rows and my time was 36:15

  17. WOD:
    Scaled the OHS to 55#
And did 35 & 20 for reps for pullups

Then did something supremely dumb and was thinking the last mile would take me 8ish minutes (I wasnt off by much…took me 11:45..) 😑 I would have done 800m, not a mile.

    Time: an embarrassing 48:32

  18. Bull. The ugly way

    400 singles
    22 OHS with 105# then switched to 13 with 95 #s
50 ring rows. Tried to make them the hardest way
    Ran 1 mile

    400 singles
20 OHS with 75 #s. wrist was killing me and usually I don’t mind these but bad form and poor planning for WOD led to my demise
    50 ring rows
Ran 400 m to finish to 45 minutes

I received the “benefit” of what this workout was doing

    Got a tshirt!
On to the next phase of improvement

  19. Bull
    Round 1
    200 singles
    35 OHS 35#
    35 ring rows
    1 mile run
    Round 2
100 singles (scaled so I could do the run)
    35 OHS 35#
    35 RR
    1 mile run
    45:21 min

I was going to scale the skipping and the runs and do 50’s in the middle but Coach Amanda suggested that I scale the middle and do the longer runs because I want to get better at running….so I did. And I ran two steady miles!

  20. I have done this wod every year since I joined CFM. I plan to attend it every year going forward.

I used the same rep scheme as last year but did it in 44:40. Have been working on strength and need to up cardio

    8/31/2017 > 200 singles, 50 Ring Rows, 50 OHS@ 35# Time – 44:15

    8/23/2016 > 200 Singles, 35 reps and 35# OHS, 1 mile run 44:13
