  10. Well I’ve been a member of CFM for 2 and a half years and I finally did my first partner wod. I refused to do them before because I’d have felt horrible for slowing someone else down and my nightmare came true when I got partnered up with Superwoman Corinna today. lol. I decided to sign up for the class because I had a lightbulb moment and realized that if the situation were reversed, I wouldn’t want my partner to feel that they were slowing us down…and I since we have such a supportive community, that whoever I got paired with wouldn’t mind if I couldn’t do as much or as fast as them.
    I do feel a little bit bad for butchering our pushups/planks but I don’t think Corinna minded too much. Haha! I had fun doing the partner wod and I’ll definitely have to start incorporating some Saturday wods into my schedule. Thanks Corinna!!
    And on that note, I want to wish all our members and coaches a very Merry Christmas, I really love you guys a lot and I’m looking forward to seeing what the next year brings for all of us at CFM.

  11. Hate that I have missed the last 9 days. Can’t seem to shake this cold. Looking forward to the 27th. Merry Christmas to everyone at Crossfit Moncton and I look forward to passing out on the cold floor on Wednesday or Thursday of this week.

    Med ball sit-up relay- 20# was tough! I wasn’t sure if I was going to come back up lol

    Squat/sit-up/burpee event – 265 reps

    Partnered up with Heather S. ( that was fun!)

    KBS @ 35#
    OH lunges @ 25#
    Push-ups (while partner holds a plank)

    Finished at 8:18. I really liked this one. Heather you are so strong!

  14. Visited CrossFit Summerside for their noon WOD.
    WU – 10air squats, 10 push-ups, 10 walking lunges, 10 Med Ball Clean (14#), 10 KBS (35#)
    Box jumps 20″
    Wall Balls 14#
    KBS 40#

    Time: 24:54

    This was moved out of the box into the gym and each move was set up in a different corner of the gym. You chose where you started and rotated around..10 of everything in the first rotation, then 9, then 8 etc.
    I definitely needed the cardio after all the Christmas cheer this passed week 🙂

    My first time at a different box and it was a little intimidating and I definitely could have worked out a bit harder 🙂 I didn’t move to fast between stations.
