First off, thank you to all the volunteers! Without you, the event wouldn’t have been as seamless.
Thank you to all the CrossFitters that came out to support this first annual event! There were some amazing feats of performance that happened this weekend, and I’m glad to have been there to witness them. What was even more amazing was the amount of people that got their first muscle-ups, or were damn close, after the event!
Thanks for CrossFit Bathurst, CrossFit Fredericton and CrossFit Dieppe for providing equipment for the event. It goes to show that we have such a great community that are willing to help each other and provide any support when needed.
Thanks to MegaWraps for proving delicious wraps. I’d love to hear any feedback from on the food.
A big thank you goes out all the spectators, who drove in from all over the Maritimes to cheer on their friends and family. I was in awe at the amount of support and encouragement that everyone gave.
And thank you to my mom for facing her fears and competing. She was extremely nervous and told me she didn’t want to disappoint me if she didn’t do well during the event. Seeing her cross the finish line brought tears to my eyes, and further reinforces the fact that if you believe you CAN, you WILL achieve! Thanks to everyone who supported her in her efforts.
Well, I believe the First Annual Atlantic Hopper Event went fairly well. There were a few things that could use improvement, and I welcome any comments or feedback that will help make this event bigger and better for next year.
Thank you all so much! I feel great to be part of the CrossFit Community!

While you’re driving down Rideout St, look for the parking sign. When you register, you’ll need to fill out a waiver, pay your $10 and you’ll receive a food/beverage ticket and a door prize ticket. Show up early to avoid the line. Registration is from 9-9:45am.
Bring bug spray! It’s swampy and the mosquitos are BAD.
