I too was confused Dave… Wow am I glad I read the post later this AM, I was thinking AMRAP in 20 min. of goat wrestling… would have felt pretty embarrassed showing up tonight in my Hulkamania tank top and balding blonde mullet wig… and to know that I don’t have to cram 3 goats into my Jetta is a huge relief.

      That will be great! :D

  13. July 8, 2009 at 1:49 pm | #21

What’s the difference between “can’t” and “unable”?

    • July 8, 2009 at 6:54 pm | #22

It’s a case of semantics. I think I had that argument discussion with Kevin earlier this this year.

      • July 8, 2009 at 9:47 pm | #23

        I can’t understand the difference.

      • July 8, 2009 at 10:03 pm | #24

        There is no difference.

      • Elissa
        July 8, 2009 at 11:59 pm | #25

Jeanette, I’ve never herd the word semantics
before..! So I googled it to understand. What
a perfect way to explain the difference! A+

        I wanna start using this one…. :)

        >> Semantics is the study of meaning. The word “semantics” itself denotes a range of ideas, from the popular to the highly technical. It is often used in ordinary language to denote a problem of understanding that comes down to word selection or connotation. This problem of understanding has been the subject of many formal inquiries, over a long period of time.

    ****SATURDAY CROSSFIT HIKE****

Hi guys! We are planning a 4:30 hike this Saturday at Fundy National park. We are planning on doing the Third Vault falls trail. We could meet at the Sobey’s parking lot (corner of Main and Vaughn Harvey) at 3:30.

Let me know your thoughts or if you’re in! Should be a great time!

    July 8, 2009 at 10:08 pm | #40

    I tackled Nate tonight.

    “Nate”

Complete as many rounds in twenty minutes as you can of:
    2 Muscle-ups
    4 Handstand Push-ups
    8 Kettlebell swings (55#)

    10 rounds + 2 MUs + 3 HSPUs

My shoulders were shot from that press workout 2 days ago, so my HSPUs were a big limiting factor.

Nice job on the Goats tonight guys and gals! The whole idea is to make your weaknesses your strengths!
