Hey you! Ya, the one behind the computer screen. Why haven’t you tried CrossFit yet? Is it because the workouts are too hard? You can’t do pullups or deadlift 200 pounds? Don’t worry…CrossFit can be scaled so that anybody can do it. For instance, CrossFit Moncton has these huge rubber bands that help you do pullups. They can modify any exercise to suit your level of fitness.

Oh, you don’t have time? No problem…you’ll only be at the gym for 50 minutes. You’ll start with a warm-up, work on some strength like a shoulder press, and then hit a workout, which sometimes lasts just 5 minutes.

So what are you waiting for? Come by on Saturday morning 9am and give it a try. Leave your money at home…just bring some gym clothes and water. Contact Kevin at crossfitmoncton@hotmail.com to confirm.

Today is the first day for the 6am class. Part of CrossFit’s ‘constantly varied’ workouts include the time of day you train. Try to mix it up a bit.

    Really struggled with the dead lifts today, but I think it was all mental. :)

    I was intimidated by the 185. But I owned the frist 2 rounds and I got a rush. I hammered this one out. One of those days where it all comes together.

    Great way to start the day.

    I had a zone breakfast and hopefuly can get right into it now that I am on “EI” for the summer….
