Back from PEI

June 22, 2009

Wow! What a great weekend. Tucker was an awesome gymnastics instructor and we learned a boatload of skills. Thanks to CrossFit PEI for being outstanding hosts as well! Pierre will be writing up a summary of the weekend in the upcoming July Newsletter. Stay tuned.

In other news, people have been asking about the 6am classes. The first class will be on Monday, June 29. They will be available for registration on Wednesday morning of this week.

Also, CrossFit Moncton is beginning a new contest to encourage more people to post their results from the WODs. Starting today, for each occasion you submit your workout results, you’ll receive a “ballot” for a $25 gift certificate from Chapters. The main rule is that you must post no later than 24 hours after the workout to receive a ballot. As well, the workout must have been completed at CrossFit Moncton to count. So come workout, post often and good luck. (Contest closes Friday, July 31)

Now for the WOD…

3 rounds of:
50 Mountain climbers
21 Squats
12 Knees to Elbows

Participants at the CrossFit Gymnastics Cert.

Sounds like a great weekend… I’m away in Ontario all week this week. Managed to check out the hotel gym this morning. Kept my WOD to all legs today…

    10 minutes treadmill elevated
Then 2 rds for time of:
    35 walking lunges
    30 squats
    ————
Approx 15 minutes (kept getting asked questions from some dude) Legs felt VERY weak….can’t wait for returning next week (and hopefully as RX’ed WODs! :)
