My favorite piece of equipment a CFM is probably the pull-ups bars.

And something that I would like to see is more KB…and heavier ones. :)

I mirror or two could be handy to watch form – sometimes I can’t ‘feel’ what I’m doing wrong. Especially on newer moves.

I’d have to say the pull up bar is my favorite thing in the gym and I would like to see that basketball net in that picture put up in there haha.

Why not a set of Parallel Bars?? it’s pretty popular in gymnastics

yeah maybe another small length of pull up bar would be good just to make sure there is enough room for all 8 people. It wouldnt need to be double what we have now, maybe half the length more added to one end.

Also a padded leaning area would be good so I dont hurt my elbows when “holding up the wall” during WODs ;)

thanks jeanette for making me do 35#. i wasn’t feeling in the mood for the WOD, but the kick in the pants was what i needed. thanks for pushing me on the on the drives too – as a result ALL rounds of KBs were unbroken! (and i really wanted to put it down a few times)

Thanks for all of your suggestions. I will definitely consider them as I plan future purchases. Well…except for the full size parallel bars. Sorry Kevin L.

I got my new weightlifting shoes today. Tried them out doing some snatches.

    95,115,125,135,145,150(F)

The 145 was a PR by 15#!! The shoes be magical!

Told you kevin! The shoes are wicked!

  21. January 28, 2009 at 9:49 am | #21

    CFWU x 3 [w/ HSPUs (gr+gr)]

… And that’s it! I think I’ll drop the resistance on HSPUs and do fewer reps. Maybe 5 per round instead of 10.

Great job on the Kb swings Krista!

    Oh well I tried.

How about a Waist Belt so you don’t have to try and wrap your feet around a weight when wanting to do weighted pull ups? Unless you already have one…??

  23. Kevin
    January 28, 2009 at 5:18 pm | #23

I have a bookbag that works great! Had 80#’s in it with no ripping.

    January 28, 2009 at 11:57 pm | #24

Ohh I see so that’s what your using…no worries then!
