CrossFit Dieppe on Saturday

We’ll be joing CrossFit Dieppe for their grand-opening event on Saturday starting at 10am. It will take place at Ecole Anna-Malenfant on 500 Centrale Road in Dieppe.

That means there will not be a regularly scheduled workout for CrossFit Moncton at 9am. We will be getting out butts kicked with the Dieppe crew instead.

Hope we can get a great turnout on Saturday. See you all there!

Hopper Deck

Tonight’s workout will be decided randomly with the use of the Hopper Deck. What is the Hopper Deck, you ask. It’s an extraordinary deck of cards that has a different workout on each card. You shuffle the deck, get someone to pick a card, any card, and Presto! we do that workout.

See everyone tonight, rain or shine!

The workout was “Kelly” (thanks Herman). We scaled it down to 4 rounds instead of 5.

400m run
30 Wall ball
30 box jumps

AND a new record tonight! We had 18 people come out for the workout! Great to see lots of new faces. Hope to see you all again on Thursday!

Remember, tonight we’re meeting at 7pm.

“Moncton Hold’em”.

  • Hearts = Burpees
  • Diamonds = Situps
  • Clubs = Pullups
  • Spades = Squats
  • Jokers = Sprint around the field

Start by drawing the top card and do that many reps of the suit. Example, if you draw the 9 of Hearts, you’re doing 9 burpees. Face cards are all worth 10! The goal is to get through the whole deck as fast as you can.
