hey Kevin i have two pieces of 1/2″ plywood that make a 5 x 8 piece ….want them for your trailer ???
I’m going with 3/4″. I’m going to cut the metal out, so it needs to be thick.

you could even go with 2×6 for the bottom …stonger and perhaps cheaper )
